Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the conditions under which TempusLocusLux (the “App”) is provided, and the rights and obligations between the users of the App (“Users”) and the provider (the “Provider”). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Definitions)
1. “App” means the iOS application “TempusLocusLux.”
2. “Service” means all functions provided through the App, including the display of time-based generated visual output, settings, in-app purchases, and advertisement display.
3. “User” means any individual who installs and uses the App.
4. “Provider” means the developer and provider of the App.
5. “Pro” means the status of having purchased the App’s paid features via a one-time (lifetime) in-app purchase.
6. “Support Development” means optional purchases made to support the Provider’s development activities (tips).
Article 2 (Agreement to and Changes of the Terms)
1. Users shall use the Service upon agreeing to these Terms.
2. The Provider may revise these Terms if deemed necessary.
3. Revised Terms shall become effective when announced by a reasonable method, including on the official website.
4. Continued use of the Service after such revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 3 (Service Description and Preconditions)
1. The App presents a full-screen visual field generated using the current time as input. The App is not intended to continuously display time as numerals.
2. The results and performance of the Service depend on device capability, OS specifications, settings, and the usage environment.
3. The Provider does not guarantee any specific output, completeness, uninterrupted operation, or availability of the Service.
Article 4 (Free Features and Pro)
1. The App includes free features and paid features available by purchasing Pro.
2. The scope and limitations of features available in the free version and Pro are determined by in-app displays or other reasonable methods.
3. By purchasing Pro, Users may access paid features such as the removal of advertisements and other features determined by the Provider.
4. The contents of the Service may be changed for technical or operational reasons.
Article 5 (In-App Purchases and Billing)
1. Pro and Support Development purchases are provided through the App Store.
2. Charges are billed through the User’s Apple ID in accordance with Apple’s policies and procedures.
3. Purchase management and restoration (Restore Purchases) are handled by the User through the App Store mechanisms.
4. Eligibility for refunds and refund procedures are governed by Apple’s policies, and the Provider does not guarantee refunds.
5. Support Development purchases are optional and intended to support development. Whether any consideration (features, items, or services) is provided, and its content, shall follow the in-app display.
Article 6 (Advertisements)
1. The free version of the App may display advertisements provided by third parties.
2. For Pro Users, advertisements are intended to be reduced or disabled; however, due to network conditions, third-party service circumstances, or other reasons, the Provider does not guarantee the complete removal of all advertisements at all times.
3. For information regarding data use for advertising, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:
1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
2. Acts that infringe upon the rights or interests of third parties
3. Unauthorized modification, analysis, or reverse engineering of the App
4. Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service
5. Fraudulent purchases, circumvention of payments, or falsification of purchase status
Article 8 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)
1. The Provider makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service.
2. The Provider shall not be liable for damages arising from communication failures, App Store or third-party service issues, OS changes, device differences, or other circumstances beyond the Provider’s reasonable control.
3. Even if the Provider is liable, such liability shall be limited to direct and ordinary damages actually incurred by the User, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Provider.
Article 9 (Privacy)
User information shall be handled in accordance with the separate Privacy Policy.
Article 10 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Provider’s location as the court of first instance.
